Az igaz történet által INSPIRÁLT (Ez jó akkor most a film nem igaz történeten alapszik, csak igaz történet INSPIRÁLTA. Értitek?! :)) filmdráma főszereplője egy házaspár, John és Aileen Crowley akiknek a gyermeke egy nagyon ritka genetikai rendellenességben szenved. A szülők már hajszál híján teljesen feladták a reményt gyermekeik gyógyulásának ügyében, amikor John összetalálkozik egy kutatóorvossal aki, a birtokában van egy lehetséges gyógymódnak. A film valós alapját egy Wall Street Journal-ban megjelent cikk, majd az azt követő könyv – Geeta Anand: The Cure – szolgáltatta.
Mellesleg az a plakát ami a hivatalos honlap háttere is lett nagyon akció filmesre sikerült. :)
