Az angolban attention whore-nak nevezik azokat az embereket, akik bármit képesek megtenni, csak foglalkozzanak velük, gondoljanak rájuk. A filmben szereplő férfi is hasonló figyeleméhségben szenved, csak nála fizikai tünetekkel jár a dolog: ha épp nem gondolnak rá, kezd eltűnni. Remekül párhuzamba lehet állítani őt és mindezt a közösségi oldalakat az életük minden apró részletével elárasztó, illetve az érdekesség látszatát folyamatosan, kényszeresen fenntartani igyekvő emberekkel.
